Andrea joined Becker & Poliakoff as a litigator in August 2015. She focuses her practice on commercial litigation and real estate litigation. She has represented clients in a variety of civil cases, involving shareholder derivative claims, landlord-tenant disputes, discrimination, contractual disputes, and estates.
Prior to joining the firm, at Boston University School of Law, Andrea served as a judicial intern to the Honorable O. Rogeriee Thompson on the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. She also externed at the Domestic Worker Law and Policy Clinic, where she lobbied for Massachusetts’ first Domestic Workers Bill of Rights, and participated in the groundbreaking Human Trafficking Clinic at BU Law, where she represented victims of domestic violence and human trafficking. In the summer of 2013, Andrea worked in the litigation department of Goldstein Hall PLLC, where she went on to become an Associate after graduation. As an Associate, she focused her practice on litigation and corporate compliance.
While in law school, Andrea served as the Administrative Editor of the International Law Journal and was a recipient of a Public Interest Project grant.
