Our firm devotes more to attorney training than do many firms several times our size. Our own Becker & Poliakoff University (BPU) offers extensive hands-on training programs each year for attorneys. In addition we provide monthly in-house CLE lunches, a training video bank and a year-long program to develop future leaders of the firm (Leadership BP). The latter program selects four attorneys below equity shareholder status each year, on a competitive basis, to learn about law firm economics and develop skills in leadership, management and marketing in the business of law.
At Becker & Poliakoff, we measure client service just as we and most firms measure billable hours and client origination, because service is so important to our culture. And we have what is probably the industry’s first dedicated customer service department, the Client CARE Center.
