Oliver Edwards VI joined the firm as an of counsel member of the Corporate and Intellectual Property and Emerging Technology practice groups. With more than 40 years of experience, Edwards has represented both companies and individuals in connection with business activities in the United States, Scandinavia, Switzerland, Germany, France, and England.
He has represented international companies in the acquisition and sale of assets and stock of U.S. corporations, as well as a wide variety of companies in connection with joint ventures, distribution and agency agreements. He also has handled the formation and dissolution of corporations in various states and foreign jurisdictions, including Liberia and Panama.
As an intellectual property practitioner, his work has included registration and licensing involving trademarks and copyrights.
Mr. Edwards has lectured in the U.S. and Europe on mergers and acquisitions, trademark law, and foreign corporations doing business in the United States.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Edwards served in the U.S. Army.
